Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - 9 Sep - The Painting Blues

Welcome to the Link-Up for BOMs Away Mondays!

We'd love to see the BOM you're working on lately.
This week's link-up is at the bottom of this post.

Hi!  I could not do any BOM work today because yesterday's job of transforming the quilting parlor from this:

into this:

Took ALL of yesterday and most of today. Soooooo much happier with the instant brightness in that formerly cave-dark room! The ambient light change really is as dramatic as the pictures show, and is going to help tremendously this winter with my SADD. Now if I can just get the funds together for window treatments and little dressing up of the room that I'd like to add. . .

Everything was torn up too much to get "Selvages" out and start the setting process, so I did a few extra wedding rings (I have a daily minimum quota of 2 footballs made and attached) and ironed 12 yards of very special fabrics. Top Secret stuff. I could show you more, but then I'd have to kill you.  ;D

So - did you get any work done on your BOMs?

~*~*~*~*~

Weeklies are welcome along with regular projects that you’ve broken into monthly units, and –of course- true BOMs.   Share your eye candy and show off your progress since the last time you linked up! There are some wonderful monthly and weekly projects going on out there.

No need to write up a whole new post unless that's what you want to do today. Simply link a post from this past week or so.

(Thanks bunches if you mention this spot on your own blog.)

  5. WOW! What a bright and cheerful room! I have this lamp that I got off Amazon that we keep in our bedroom, I don't suffer from SADD, but I did notice that it does make a difference in my mood. I do get the winter blues occasionally.
