Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

Finish Report :) "Wildlife Trio"

Just a fun little lark of a mini for my husband, at 6.5 x 20.5 inches. A break from big, intense quilts that was sorely needed, I got this as a pre-fused kit. The design is by Jeri Kelly.

It has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting, and I quilted it on my domestic machine, because the frame is occupied by a giant UFO quilt, and I'm not comfortable enough yet to do fusible stitchery at the longarm.

I bought this last June when Scott and I were in Estes Park for his week-long conference. Cottage Bliss is a really cute little quilting and novelty shop up there.

This is on my Q1 Finish-Along list.

  1. That's a neat wall hanging! When a kit is pre-fused, are the shapes already cut out? Or is the fusing on the back of an entire fat quarter/fat eighth?

  3. That will look good in his office. I guess he's a happy fella. I love Estes Park. I need to plan a trip there just for Cottage Bliss!

  4. That is so cute! I know what you mean about needing a small, quick project sometimes. Big quilts are wonderful, but they sure do take a long time, lol :)

  5. Yay! Another finish Lynette. You are on a roll. I bet it was great to do a smaller project. I typically do all queen sized quilts. My 6 & 6 new starter list for this year will be smaller ones (or most anyway).

  6. I visited Estes Park in the summer with my son's family and found a nice quilt show and several fine shops. Hard to leave that town without buying something.

  7. I love that wall quilt! The moose and the color green (my favorite color). It is really pretty.

  8. It is nice to switch things up and work on something that goes together quickly thanks to all the prep work someone else did like the kit. Great job, congratulations. And on behalf of all our hosts, thank you for joining in the Finish-A-Long!
