The quilting was so intense over several weeks, though, that I had to take a rest from it. Getting some movie time today while I stitch up the binding!
This has been in the works since 2011 - can't wait to show my "Ruffled Roses" (a Sue Garman pattern, this one was the kit from The Quilt Show's BOM program).
I'm greatful for these linkups that provide great motivation to focus on particular projects! Linking at Esther's WOW, Susan's Midweek Makers, and Brook's WIP link.
Gotta get a move on here, so I can put this up for this week's Thank Goodness It's Finished Friday posting! If you have a finish to share this week, I'll have the host spot and we'd love to see what you accomplished!
What a glorious finish! A bright hope for spring in the midst of our current snowstorm. I love all those gorgeous colors, and the quilting adds so much interest. Looking forward to seeing more photos of the finished quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh, those spring colors are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful job you've done on this quilt!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love your quilting, am a big fan of Sue Garman patterns. Saw many quilts made with this pattern, these colours are absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat pretty quilt will be worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Lynette -- this is a masterpiece for sure! I can only dream of such beautiful feathers. Enjoy admiring every stitch of the quilting as you sew down that binding!
ReplyDeleteThis is such an amazing quilt, I just don't have words to do it justice. So glad to see it all but finished.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynette! Oh, those closeup photos of your quilting are just fab.u.lous! I really love seeing the paisley photo, as that is exactly my plan for a just finished quilt's borders. ~smile~ Roseanne
