Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - Of Loss and Re-engagement

Welcome to the link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!
Where we share what we're doing on a BOM-type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom.)

R.I.P. David
We loved you, Nephew, and will miss you.
At 26, this man was far too young to go. Alcohol poisoning is the apparent cause,
but investigations are expected to go on for a few months.

Our family is still reeling from an inconceivable loss. After two weeks of stunned lassitude, today I pulled out this project that has languished for several months.

Dinner Plate Dahlia - I made the B set of petals.

I do apologize for dropping off the planet for a time.

*~*~*~

We would love to see any BOM work you're done lately.

Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,
and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  13. I am so sorry for your family's loss. It is hard whenever it happens but the loss of a young life feels especially painful and troubling. Take time to find peace in your memories of time spent with him and honor his life by those.

  16. BOMs Away is a reminder that while loss is inevitable, it doesn’t define us. The process of moving forward can be as much about letting go as it is about reclaiming and reconnecting with the parts of life that bring us joy, meaning, and purpose. This blog is an invitation to explore the transformative power of both loss and re-engagement, encouraging readers to see beyond the pain and find hope in the journey of moving forward.

Thank you for stopping by! I answer each comment via email. Sometimes, though, the system fails to notify me that a comment has been left, and if you are a "No-Reply" commentor, I cannot respond. Also, I apologize for having to block anonymous users - too much uncivil spam was coming through to leave the comments completely open.
