Welcome to the link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!
Where we share what we're doing on a BOM-type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom.)
Don't you love it when you finally break through all the meticulous foundation work to the point where things start coming together "quickly"?!
This week I started the assembly process on Devon's Dinner Plate Dahlia. It's not actually a quick job, being all precise curved piecing, but it's so very satisfying!
I got this far, stacked in sets of 4:
It's kind of fun to me to work backward, contructing a quilt from the outer border to the center instead of assembling a center and adding the borders. I may just have this quilt top finished for next week's BOM!

How are your BOMs doing lately?
Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,
and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.
What we can see so far looks lovely! The colors are fantastic, you did a great job of pulling them together. Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteThis is so great! Such teeny, precision piecing! It's all foundation paper-piecing, right? It looks like a tedious project to me, but I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's gonna be awesome!
ReplyDeleteHooray for progress!! I am loving the progress you have been showing! I can't wait to see how you quilt it! Great job!
