Decided the best star to stand under is this amazing block made by BamaBee for the Valor Bee project. And since there are no dandelions this time of year, Scott came to the rescue with a print-out. :)
And I'm REALLY glad he's not on deployment this year in Afghanistan. . .

P.S. I've had a lot of fun watching Marlene of Kissed Quilts design several quilts for challenges the last few months. You just might enjoy being her follower, too. My favorite is her "1892 Rondure":
She's having a unique GIVEAWAY right now that you might want to check out. Very interesting prizes for a pool of 11 folks! :D
Tell him thank you from a not so cool Army Nurse veteran...
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of him in Afghanistan!
What a great picture of him! Could you please explain the significance of the dandelion and star> Never heard of that before.
ReplyDeleteYikes! He's hanging off a rock! I'm glad he hasn't been deployed to Afaghanastan again too! I don't know what the dandelion means either. I've got lots in my garden at the moment.
