Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - Neptune's Gift

Welcome to the Link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!

Where we share what we're doing on a BOM type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom)

Month 3 of "Neptune's Gift" showed up in my mailbox Friday, so I got to work on that this weekend. I'm determined to keep pace with this live BOM!

It has a ton of work in it!  48 blocks to paper piece, then assemble into the middle arc row, and then sew the rows together.  I was doing all 48 blocks at each stage until I got impatient and wanted to have something fully finished to look at today. So now I have 1 unit fully assembled:

3 that just have one row to add on,

and 36 of the blocks still need the last couple of pieces put on.

All in all, that's a good chunk of work in just 2 days! Not much at all to finish the other 15 units up, so I'm a happy camper.

What BOM type project have you worked on recently?

Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,

and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.
