Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMS Away - Triathlon & Americana

Welcome to the Link-Up for BOMs Away Mondays!
We'd love to see the BOM you're working on lately.
This week's link-up is at the bottom of the post.

Trying to post from my phone. . . Rather interesting!

I've been up here in Nebraska since Thursday night so I could be with Devon for her big U.S. Nationals Triathlon. What
a super exciting experience! She absolutely amazes me.  This was her very first Triathlon, and it's straight into the Nationals age group Olympic length race. (She qualified for it when she did a sprint dual thingy 6 weeks ago.) And she even finished in the top half.  The distances, to the best of my memory, are almost a mile of swimming, just under 26 miles of biking, and then 10K running (about 6.2 miles). All in the summer heat with no breaks. It was quite thrilling!

Now we're visiting grandparents, and I've been working on tucking tails on my DOD Americana. I'm almost all finished with the quilting - just the fill work left around the border windmills.

And I officially despise posting from my phone!  ;D

~*~*~*~

Have you done any BOM work done this past week or so? I  know summer gets crazy!

  1. Devon is an amazing athlete! Triathlons would be so hard, especially in summer. Your quilt is looking great!

  2. Congrats to Devon! I don't like to post from my phone also. I usually upload photos from my phone but then go to the computer to make sure everything is arranged nicely.

  3. Yikes, I don't think I was supposed to post in this party, sorry. Your daughter is amazing! Triathlons take an incredible amount of training and perseverance.
