BOMs Away - A pretty hijack

Welcome to the link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!
Where we share what we're doing on a BOM-type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom.)

There it is!  It was too late to get a great photo, but I got the rest of the bay window treatments finished this weekend. whoop! whoop!

How funny! That lampshade is not yellow; that's just how the camera sees that bulb's light.
It's actually cream like the ceiling color.

These babies took way more work than I ever dreamed up front that they would take.
And they completely hijacked all of this week's BOM time.
Now to focus on finishing the door remodeling so I can get those saw horses out of the room and move the chest back where it's supposed to be . . . looking forward to not having to crawl around it getting in and out of bed!

How did you fare with BOM work? Anything new to share?

Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,

and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.

  4. The window treatments look fabulous. Home sewing is always more intensive than one anticipates...gotta remember how large the project really is even though it is simple sewing.

  7. Hello, I went by to say hello, since I've been disconnected from everything for a long time. As always I love your work. That I still think that they are not chapucillas, but great works. A kiss.
