First week of the month means it's time to work on Kelly's BOM for her. :) I *finally* finished the 2nd section - the last 4 of 18 stars:
I also managed to get 7 Baby Janes caught up. 3 from the hand-stitching tote and 4 from regular paper piecing at the machine. 20 minutes each morning moves things along slowly but surely. Now this BOM is only 30 babies behind instead of 60. - Makes me happy.
And I also wanted to share these super fun pop-shut bags that I got from Shannon's giveaway from her blog, It's "Sew" Shannon. I met Shannon in February at a retreat, and she's very nice. So is her husband, who sports the most awesome handlebar mustache.
I love the bags! Going to use one to hold my grid-sewing labels, and the other to organize some marking tools that float around loose in my left-hand drawer. Very nice to have. Thank you Shannon! :D

ReplyDeleteDarn, but I haven't done a thing. Life's on hold at the moment, while I get through the nasty business. Sure enjoy seeing what you're accomplishing, though. Good work on the Dear Jane catch-up. I've made some of those Snap-It pouches myself. They make great gifts.
