I see that you are using the method of basting on the stitching line for your applique and you do a splendid job of that as well! I've always been fearful that this method takes too much time - essentially stitching it 2X's but I see your results are fantastic. It may be time for me to re-think my process. Did you trace on the backside or do this all over a light box?
