Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - Prep Week

Welcome to the link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!
Where we share what we're doing on a BOM-type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom.)

The only BOM work I've accomplished this week is making sure I have all the remaining Nutcrackers coordinated in baggies so I can take them with me to a week in. . .

The Garden District of New Orleans!

Not sure how much I will or won't get done on them (the first two have some work done already).

I'm not a crowds person, and while I *am* a music person who would love very much to enjoy some jazz venues, my Lupus stuff is reactive enough these days to any perfumes or smoking that such venues are increasingly unattractive. When 20 minutes of exposure can leave you feeling slammed like you have the full on flu for a week or longer, the ways you want to spend your time change.

I do have different tours I want to enjoy while Scott's in his conference courses, but I also know I'd love to just sit in gorgeous areas or even on a trolley car or a cemetery (they don't make them anywhere else like they do in New Orleans) and do some slow stitching.  I really enjoy those quiet moments now.

Did you get some BOM work done recently?

Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,
and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.

  2. I hear you about crowded places. While I don't have Lupus, my ailment is loud noise - it does bad things to me. I"m sure you'll find some nice quiet places to stitch at - don't forget churches.

  3. In my book, organizing fabric in to baggies and forming a plan all counts as sewing. It is all part of the process.

Stay healthy and enjoy your trip.

  4. Hello, I went by to say hello, since I've been disconnected from everything for a long time. As always I love your work. That I still think that they are not chapucillas, but great works. A kiss.
