Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - A Skiier . . . and a Cat

Welcome to the link-up for BOMs Away Mondays!
Where we share what we're doing on a BOM-type project
so they don't stall out in UFO-land!
(Linky at the bottom.)

Hello!

I've finished the applique for Block 10 of my Classic Nutcrackers quilt (one of Sue Garman's wonderful patterns).

Here's my old-time Skiier:

Only two more nutcrackers to applique!

And then I can figure out what-all threads I want to get for their embroidery. . .

P.S.

My funny, funny cat has demanded that I take this shot. The fella who normally disdains photos and gets downright angry every time you snap a shot, howled and howled and yowled until I not only acknowledged his clever spot, but remained restless until I came back with my phone and took his photo. So I give you,

"Portrait of a Cat"

Now he has resumed his happy day about the house. Too stinkin' funny!

How did you fare with BOM work? Anything new to share?

Kate over at Katie Mae Quilts has joined me in hosting this meet-up,
and linking up from either end puts you on the party at both sides.
