Quilt ADD in therapy

Other than my family, the passion of my life is quilting. An eclectic, I love a wide variety of styles and techniques encompassing both machine and hand work. I am a longarm quilter who can work for you. I enjoy any style, from pantographs to all-over to full custom, ranging from traditional to modern. I love bringing vintage tops to life and am willing to work with a challenging quilt top. Instagram: lyncc_quilts

BOMs Away - Star Crazy

Welcome to the Link-Up for BOMs Away Mondays!
We'd love to see the BOM you're working on lately.
This week's link-up is at the bottom of the post.

I didn't know if I'd get any BOM sewing done today, as I've been away at a fantabulous quilt retreat. More about that later!  :D   I got home exhausted last night, and worked non-stop while there, so I was surprised I had either the energy or the interest, frankly, to set my sewing machine back up to do anything already.

But I did get the month 2 set of blocks done up: Two more of the larger stars and two of the Irish Chain blocks. I also whipped through the sewing of the HST sheets for month 3's work.

I didn't feel like fully processing the smaller HSTs yet that will be for the outer borders at the end of the project (this BOM has you do a portion of those each month so you're not slammed with several hundred all at once). I did sew them (12 per sheet) and cut them all apart. They're waiting for some TV time to pop off the papers. No biggie at all. Just don't wanna today.

Did you get any work done on your BOMs while I was enjoying Hobble Creek?

  7. Hey there, Lyn! So glad you had a great retreat like this one. I'm co-chairing a Mod Retreat in May, with 26 quilters coming. They're not getting anything in the way of swag! You received so many little gifties! I've made a whole bunch - like 14 - of those twisted thread catchers (blogged about them too). They're almost entirely handmade, so lots of time goes into each one. Sure love the Leaded Glass quilt you're working on. You know, if you want to be "modern," you don't need to add any more borders. :-) It's fun to see what you've been up to. I hope your health is holding strong.
